Class topics include food groups and portions, unit prices, sugar sweetened beverages, reading nutrition labels. All classes and materials are in English and Spanish with recipes reflecting the neighborhood, culture, and community around The Wellness Center. This program is fun and unique and uses food grown in the garden to create meals. It centers on growing and eating seasonally while focusing on health and affordability.
